Trustees Bio

Letters of Hope is a UK based registered charity that supports grieving hearts by providing resources to help deal with the various challenges of losing a loved one. Our mission at Letters of Hope is to bring hope to the bereaved in times of despair, helping them to find the strength and courage to keep moving forward.

Ope Malomo

Ope Malomo, founder of Letters of Hope, transformed personal tragedy into a mission of compassion. Experiencing the loss of her grandfather and father at age six, followed by her mother’s death five years later, Ope understands the profound impact of unresolved grief. Her journey to healing, ignited by volunteering with bereavement charities, inspired her to write “Letters of Hope,” a book for bereaved tweens. This resource has since evolved into the registered charity, Letters of Hope, expanding to provide vital bereavement support. Notably, the charity now offers thoughtfully curated care packages, alongside connecting individuals with essential resources and educating others on effective grief support. Ope’s vision is to be a beacon of hope, guiding others through their darkest times with empathy and understanding.
